One person has been taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash near Cwmann, Lampeter. The incident happened at 12.55pm on Tuesday, April 25 on the A482, involving a red Seat Ibiza and a white Mercedes van.
Emergency services were at the scene including one emergency ambulance and one rapid response vehicle. The Welsh Ambulance Service also states that crews were supported by Wales Air Ambulance.
Traffic monitoring system Inrix says the A482 is closed in both directions, with slow traffic in the area due to the collision between Esgardawe turn-off and Tafarn Jem. It is affecting traffic between Lampeter and Llanwrda.

A Dyfed Powys Police statement said: “Police were called at 12.55pm today to a report of a two vehicle road traffic collision near Cwmann, Lampeter. The vehicles involved were a red Seat Ibiza and a white Mercedes van. One person has been taken to hospital by ambulance.”
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called today Tuesday April 25 to reports of a road traffic collision in Cwmann, Lampeter. We sent one emergency ambulance, one rapid response vehicle and crews were support at the scene by Wales Air Ambulance. One patient was transported by road to Glangwilli Hospital.”
