One of world’s ‘most scenic’ rail routes set for £15m upgrade

A railway line often described as one of the most scenic in the world is to undergo a £15 million programme of repairs and upgrades.

The West Highland Line, which links Glasgow to places including Oban, Fort William and Mallaig, includes the Glenfinnan Viaduct which features in the Harry Potter films.
