A popular football hospitality vlogger has dubbed his experience at Ibrox “one of the best” in 2024.
‘The Padded Seat’ attended Rangers vs Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League on Thursday, December 12.
They purchased a place in Rangers’ Blue Sky Lounge and proceeded to document their experience throughout the evening.
The state-of-the-art multi-purpose lounge opened in January 2023 and boasts panoramic views of Ibrox. It can serve up to 330 guests each match day.
With this particular fixture an 8pm kick-off, guests arrived to the hospitality suite at 6pm.
Awaiting them at their table was a complimentary match programme and gifts which included a Europa League crest pin badge and a personalised glass.
Then it was time to check out the advertised four course meal offering.
There appeared to be a starter, main course, desert and the bonus of a half-time pie and hot drink included in the cost. Plus, an open bar all throughout the evening.
The reviewer gave the beef brisket and backed potato main course five stars out of five.
There was also a chance to meet several Rangers legends who were in attendance. One of them was former Rangers star Lee McCulloch who addressed the corporate punters on the night.
In terms of perks during the match, you get to sit in a padded seat right on the half-way line, with arguably the best view in the stadium - all at a cost of £340 plus VAT. Depending on the fixture, sometimes you can get a similar experience from £295 plus VAT.
Overall, ‘The Padded Seat’ rated the staff and the food and drink offering maximum stars. While, the VIP areas, features, and overall value were ranked four stars out of five.
