Edinburgh’s historic Caledonian Waldorf Astoria has been sold for a reported £85m to a property investment manager and hotel operator.
Twenty14, the previous owner, had said that they were open to potentially selling the business earlier in 2023.
It has now been reported that a deal has been completed for the 241-room property for a reported £85m, insider reports.

Property investment manager Henderson Park and hotel operator Klarent Hospitality will now add the Princes Street business as their third capital Hilton hotel.
The group previously purchased The Carlton on North Bridge and the DoubleTree Edinburgh Airport in November 2021, as part of its collection of 12 hotels.
Since launching in 2016, London-based Henderson Park has invested $14bn in property across Europe, with assets also including offices and student housing.
Twenty14 Holdings, the hospitality arm of Abu Dhabi-based LuLu Group International, bought The Caledonian from Goldman Sachs in 2018 for around the same price as the latest transaction.
Hilton spent £24m on a refurbishment of the former railway hotel in 2012, before relaunching it under the Waldorf Astoria brand.
