One Lot of Babies' Magic Tea Gripe Water Recalled After FDA Tests Find Methanol, Isopropanol, and Ethanol

Parents who give gripe water to a fussy baby should check their bottle. Pacific Health Sciences is recalling one lot of Babies' Magic Tea brand Baby Sleep Gripe Water after testing by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration found three alcohols that were not listed on the label.

FDA testing of the lot "identified ethanol, methanol, and isopropanol that were not declared on the product label," the company said in a recall notice posted by the FDA. The recall covers only lot 25122bw, and the company said it has received no reports of illness.
