James Garner has sent an emotional message to his former club after he completed a move from Manchester United to Everton in the final days of the summer transfer window.
The 21-year-old, who signed a four-year deal at Goodison Park, joined the United academy at U8 level before progressing through the age groups.
He made his first-team debut in February 2019 at the age of 17, coming on as a substitute against Crystal Palace. The midfielder was sent out on loan to Nottingham Forest last season, helping them to secure promotion to the Premier League after Steve Cooper's side won the Championship play-off final.
