On MS Dhoni suggestion, MCA to auction seats to help needy cricketers with scholarships

MUMBAI: The Mumbai Cricket Association's decision to auction the two seats of the Wankhede Stadium where MS Dhoni’s winning shot for a six landed in the final of the 2011 World Cup, for the 2023 ODI World Cup matches, was prompted after an advice to this effect by the legend himself.

"Dhoni suggested selling the two 'MS Dhoni seats' tickets, which will generate revenue that the MCA can utilise to provide scholarships to young and needy cricketers," a reliable source in MCA told TOI.
