A boat carrying French tourists capsized in waters near Muscat, Oman , today , resulting in three deaths and prompting rescue operations and an official investigation by Omani authorities.
The incident took place in the Wilayat of Muttrah in the Muscat Governorate during a guided excursion. The vessel was carrying 25 French nationals along with a local tour guide and the boat’s captain when it overturned. Emergency teams from the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority provided immediate medical assistance to survivors at the scene.
