Olympic swimmer shares happy baby news after being ‘cautiously overjoyed’

  • The baby is referred to as a ‘rainbow baby', born after Adlington experienced two miscarriages in August 2022 and October 2023.
  • Adlington had previously described her pregnancy as “cautiously overjoyed” and admitted to struggling with anxiety due to her past losses.
  • She has a son, Albie, with her husband Andy Parsons, and a daughter, Summer, from a previous marriage.
  • Separately, Adlington recently revealed her diagnosis with coeliac disease and is advocating for the availability of gluten-free prescriptions.
