Olly Murs moves ITV The Voice fans to tears with heartfelt song tribute for Caroline Flack

Fans were moved to tears as singer Olly Murs delivered a heartfelt tribute to his late friend Caroline Flack on The Voice. As the ITV singing contest continued its new series on Saturday night the Dear Darlin' hitmaker took the microphone to perform in memory of Caroline, who tragically took her own life in February 2020.

Following an announcement to viewers that the show was recorded before the sad death of Her Majesty The Queen on Thursday, The Voice went ahead with the absence of any adverts. A week after Olly's co-star Sir Tom Jones moved fellow coach Anne-Marie to tears with a tribute to his late wife Olly honoured Love Island host Caroline who died aged 40.

He and Caroline presented The X Factor together in 2015 after hosting its spin-off show The Xtra Factor. On Saturday night the blind auditions were briefly paused for a special moment as Olly was encouraged to sing a song by the audience, as reported in Manchester Evening News.
