Olly Murs was left emotional after sharing a touching message his friend Caroline had sent to him before her death. The Voice coach appeared on Made In Chelsea stars Jamie Laing and Alex Mytton's podcast where he opened up about the late presenter.
The singer, 38, first met Caroline back on The Xtra Factor in 2011 and after presenting the ITV show together for four years, the pair struck up a close friendship. Caroline, who was the host of Love Island, died on February 15, 2020 by suicide which shocked her friends, family and fans.
Olly recently took to Instagram to share a tribute to his special friend on what would have been her 43rd birthday with a series of videos dancing together whilst on set. In a recent podcast Olly has now spoken out about his friendship with Caroline and read out a heartfelt message she had sent to him prior to her tragic death.

Speaking to the Private Parts podcast hosts, the pop star revealed: "Caz wrote this for my tour and obviously when she sent it to me in 2018/2019 I just put it in my tour book and thought 'aw that's really lovely, ah thanks Caz'.
"But obviously now she's not here, I then went through and remembered what she wrote, and it was like wow."
Olly, who shot to fame after coming second in the sixth series of The X Factor in 2009, then read out the kind words Caroline had said to him.
"When I met Olly for the first time, it felt like I'd met my soulmate. Not in a weird way, it was just like meeting someone I'd known all my life," he read.
"I've never laughed as much as I did in 2011 when we first hosted The Xtra Factor together and that experience will always stay with me forever."
Fighting back tears, the singer-songwriter continued: "He's one of the most talented people I've ever met in my whole life and he puts 100% into everything he does.
"He keeps the whole team going and for that I forgive him for his dad jokes."
Turning to the hosts to acknowledge how the message made him feel, Olly said: "Knowing the pain she obviously must have been in to take her own life, to hear her say 'I've never laughed as much as I did in 2011', and that memory of us being together, just little things like that.
He then admitted: "I'm really trying to keep it together here."
As the clip from the podcast was shared on Instagram, Olly's fans quickly rushed to the comments to share their support.
