Olivia Rodrigo found a fitting fashion reference for the opening of her new GRAMMY Museum exhibition. On September 1, the singer attended an event celebrating "Olivia Rodrigo: the cure unraveled" in Los Angeles wearing an archival Undercover babydoll dress from the label's Fall/Winter 2013 ready-to-wear collection, complete with a graphic skeleton across the front.
The dress, selected by Rodrigo and her stylists Chloe and Chenelle Delgadillo, features a peach-colored body, a black Peter Pan collar, short sleeves and a black rendering of a rib cage and spine. She finished the look with black tights and patent Mary Jane pumps.
The archival piece was an especially relevant choice for an event centered on "the cure," the music video that inspired the new exhibition. Rather than simply wearing a seasonal skeleton motif, Rodrigo's outfit visually echoed the medical imagery and handmade world featured in the video.
