Olivia Pratt-Korbel's mum cheered and lifted a teddy in the air after Thomas Cashman was found guilty of murder.
Nine-year-old Olivia was tragically shot dead at her own home on Kingsheath Avenue in Dovecot on the evening of August 22 last year. Drug dealer Cashman, of Grenadier Drive in West Derby, was today unanimously convicted of one of the most atrocious crimes in Merseyside's history.
There were tears among the Korbel family as the verdict was delivered this afternoon, Thursday, after nine hours and three minutes of deliberations. Olivia's sister Chloe clung to her mum's arm as Cheryl clutched a pink teddy while Cashman shook his head, turned to his family and put his head in his hands before appearing tearful.
