Olivia Pratt-Korbel's funeral service as murdered nine-year-old laid to rest
The short but treasured life of Olivia Pratt-Korbel will be commemorated at a funeral service set to begin this morning.
The nine-year-old was killed when a gunman chasing convicted criminal Joseph Nee burst into her home on Kingsheath Avenue, Dovecot, and opened fire at around 10pm on Monday, August 22.
Since then, there have been nine arrests but no-one has yet been charged with her murder.

Today a funeral service will take place at St Margaret Mary's Catholic Church in Knotty Ash, next door to Olivia's school, St Margaret Mary's Catholic Junior School. The service is due to begin at 11am and will be following by a private burial and wake.
Mourners have been asked to wear a splash of pink in her memory.
Her classmates will not have to attend the service but will remember their much-loved friend in other ways, including saying prayers, painting their nails pink and watching her favourite film; an adaptation of Roald Dahl classic 'Matilda'.

Mum saw scene where daughter was killed before she knew teen had died
The mum of a girl who was knocked down and killed by a street racer saw the police scene before she knew her daughter had died.
Courtney Ellis died instantly after being struck by a car being driven around the streets of St Helens and Haydock at high speed by Brandon Turton, who had been racing in convoy with another vehicle. Her mum today described the devastating moment she realised that her daughter had been involved in the fatal collision after she encountered the scene while she was on her way home from work.
At Liverpool Crown Court, Angela Burke told the killer driver before he was sentenced for causing her death by dangerous driving: "The night that you killed my 14-year-old daughter was the most horrific experience I have ever had to go through. It was truly a parent's worst nightmare.

"Having to see your lifeless child's body broken is indescribable. I was on my way home from work when I approached the scene of the incident. It was clear that something serious had happened, with police everywhere. I recall feeling sad for the people involved.
"Little did I know my own child was lying in the road. I was not there when she needed me most."

Baby girl died after being found 'wedged' between sofa and wall at home
A heartbroken mum and dad still don't know how their baby girl became stuck between a footstool attached to a couch and wall in a tragic accident which claimed her life.
The ECHO previously reported how six-week old Cassidy Blossom Oakley was found unresponsive at around 11pm on September 5 last year when it appeared she had fallen from a footstool she was lying on. Dad Jacob said he felt he had been woken by a "higher force" after accidentally falling asleep, and then saw his daughter on the floor at their home address in Runcorn.
An inquest into the baby's death was held in Warrington on Wednesday where her heartbroken parents paid tribute to their daughter. In a statement read out to the court, written by Jacob and Cassidy's mum Megan, they said Cassidy was their "bright, blue eyed baby girl."

The hearing was told Cassidy had been a twin, but sadly was the only survivor after an earlier miscarriage. Her parents wanted to give her "the best start" in life and said she was their very own Merida, the princess from Disney's Brave.
The hearing heard how on the day in question Cassidy had fallen asleep at around 9.30pm and was being watched by her dad. Megan said: "I went up to bed shortly after. I said my usual 'goodnight, I love you, sweet dreams princess'."
