Oliver Abildgaard has landed in Glasgow as details of his move to Celtic have now emerged, according to a report.
Football Scotland claim the Rubin Kazan star is set to join on a loan deal for the season, with it unclear at this moment whether the Scottish champions will hold a buy option clause as part of the agreement. The 26-year-old is a Denmark international and is currently under contract at the Russian club until 2024.
Ange Postecoglou has had a busy summer to date and it looks like he could be set for another action-packed day of ins and outs at Parkhead. Abildgaard's arrival would boost his midfield area and he would compete with the likes of Callum McGregor, Reo Hatate, David Turnbull, Aaron Mooy and Matt O'Riley for a spot in the starting XI.

His arrival at the club will see him come back together with a couple of familiar faces after Celtic brought in Carl Starfelt from Rubin Kazan last summer as part of Postecoglou's major overhaul on the squad he inherited. Sead Hakšabanović only recently arrived at the club to make it three dealings between the two clubs in the past year.
Mikey Johnston looks set to depart on loan with a move to Portugal looking most likely while fringe men like James McCarthy and Liam Shaw could also depart before the window slams shut at midnight.
Celtic completed two big signings at the start of the window by turning Cameron Carter-Vickers and Jota's loan deals into long-term permanent stays.
The likes of Benjamin Siegrist, Alexandro Bernabei and Moritz Jenz also joined Daizen Maeda making moves to the club with the latter staying permanently after an initial loan.
It's set to be a big couple of days for the Hoops who host Rangers in the first Old Firm showdown of the season on Saturday. Victory would open up a five point gap after just six games but defeat would see Rangers leapfrog the champions.
It's then a mouth-watering Champions League showdown with Real Madrid as Celtic get their European campaign up and running under the lights at a packed out Parkhead.
