Oli McBurnie admits he won't be able to sleep tonight after missing a series of opportunities for Scotland against Slovenia.
The striker made his first appearance for his country in over five years in the goalless draw in Ljubljana.
McBurnie partnered Robbie Ure up top and had two big chances to break the deadlock in the second half.
One on one with Jan Oblak, McBurnie tried to round the Slovenian goalkeeper instead of shooting before seeing a close range header well saved shortly after.
It was new head coach Sebastien Pocognoli's first game in charge, with Scotland improving as the match progressed.
"It took us a little bit getting used to in the first half with the new formation and the way the gaffer wanted to play," McBurnie told BBC Scotland. "But once we did, we looked really good. We created more than enough chances to win the game. We're really disappointed we didn't get the three points. I think I've got to score, and I think a couple of the other lads as well.
"I was asked to play a different position today, I quite enjoyed it. I enjoy the manager's ideas, we've had some good chats about it already.
"It suited me, but I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight with them chances. It's a tough one, but I'd rather be getting in the positions than not getting the chances. Hopefully I can get another chance in the next game and put it to bed."
Scotland welcome Switzerland to Hampden on Tuesday evening for their next outing in the new Nations League campaign.
