Oleksandr Zinchenko is waiting for the 'green light' to leave Manchester City's training camp and complete his transfer to Arsenal, according to emerging reports.
The Ukrainian has travelled with the Blues squad for pre-season despite heavy links with a move to the Emirates, but Mikel Arteta's side are also on pre-season duty in the USA, so completing a medical and signing final paperwork would not take very long.
With the two sides reportedly agreeing on a £30million fee, Zinchenko is just waiting for his signal to leave City's training camp in Texas and join up with his new teammates, according to Martin Blackburn at the Sun. Once that deal is complete, the same report states City will step up their interest in Brighton's Marc Cucurella.

Elsewhere, City have shown an interest in VfB Stuttgart left-back, Borna Sosa, who played an important role in keeping the German outfit in the Bundesliga.
He is attracting a lot of attention and a fee of around €20-€25m would be enough to prize him away from the Mercedes-Benz Arena, according to BILD. Journalist Ben Jacobs has backed up that story this morning by claiming Sosa is on City's radar after impressing for Stuttgart and the Croatian National Team.
Jacobs stresses, however, that Cucurella is still Pep Guardiola's preference at the Etihad Stadium and negotiations regarding his transfer will accelerate once Zinchenko leaves the club.
