Oleksandr Zinchenko has offered an insight into the Arsenal dressing room by revealing some of his team-mates laughed at the idea of winning the Premier League title towards the start of the season. Despite an impressive start to the campaign that idea may have appeared absurd, but Mikel Arteta's side are now firmly title favourites, sitting on 50 points, five ahead of Manchester City with a game in hand.
The Gunners have passed nearly every test placed in front of them this season, only dropping points against Manchester United, Southampton and Newcastle. United were pushing for a double over their north London adversaries and things appeared bleak when Marcus Rashford put the visitors in front at the Emirates Stadium.
Eddie Nketiah provided a swift equaliser with Bukayo Saka then turning the game on its head with a superb long-distance strike. Lisandro Martinez levelled the contest once again though, but it was ultimately Arsenal who had the last laugh as Nketiah diverted a Martin Odegaard cross home with minutes to spare.
