Oleksandr Zinchenko paid an emotional tribute to Ukraine as he celebrated winning another Premier League title with Manchester City.
The left-back was introduced as a half-time substitute as City completed the most dramatic of comebacks to secure their fourth title in five years. Having fallen 2-0 behind at the Etihad, the Blues scored three late goals in five minutes to secure their crown.
As the City players celebrated with the Premier League trophy at full-time, a tearful Zinchenko was seen draping himself in the flag of his home country. It has been an emotional year for the defender, who has continued to play for the Blues amid Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
