Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua have a long and intense staredown before Saturday’s big fight

We predicted how August might be a great month for professional boxing, and so far, the pros are making our bold predictions look good.

And right in the thick of the sport’s entertaining month of fights, fans are will be gifted this Saturday with maybe the most anticipated and intense bout of them all — a second fight between Oleksandr Usyk (19-0) vs. Anthony Joshua (24-2).

How intense are we talking?

The two heavyweight fighters spent nearly two full minutes staring one another down during Friday’s weigh-in, as neither Usyk nor Joshua wanted to budge first.

Take a look for yourself:

The staredown comes a day before their Saturday rematch in Saudi Arabia, which follows Usyk’s surprising unanimous decision win over Joshua back in September of last year.

But another win for the Ukrainian fighter over Joshua would surely be no surprise this time around.

Usyk currently has -210 odds at Tipico Sportsbook to win the fight, but Joshua (+150) has easily avenged the only other loss in his career.

Whatever the outcome of Saturday’s rematch, the fight could be one for the books.
