In the midst of Oklahoma State’s thrilling 27–24 upset of rival No. 9 Oklahoma in Stillwater on Saturday, the Cowboys’ stadium entertainment staff made sure to savor every bit of the final edition of the Bedlam rivalry for quite some time.
After students stormed the field and fans began to exit the stands to the concourse, Taylor Swift’s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” blasted over the PA system in Boone Pickens Stadium.
Swift’s hit marked a fitting end to the Bedlam rivalry for now, as Oklahoma prepares for its conference exit to the SEC in 2024.

The final installment of the rivalry lived up to every bit of the hype, with the Oklahoma State defense making a fourth down stop with just over a minute to play to secure the home upset.
Victory was quite sweet for Mike Gundy and company, as the win over the Sooners assuredly knocked their bitter rival out of the College Football Playoff and potentially out of the Big 12 title race as well.
The Cowboys still have plenty left to play for as they make a push for a Big 12 title appearance of their own. Oklahoma State heads to Orlando next Saturday to take on UCF.
