The Oklahoma City Thunder released the entire training camp roster with their height and weight measurements on Monday before media day.
One of the biggest eye poppers while scanning through the sheet involves third-year player Aleksej Pokusevski gaining 20 pounds over the offseason as he went from 190 pounds to 210 pounds.
One of the biggest criticisms Pokusevski has faced is his lanky stature, it seems like he took weight gain seriously this summer as he gained a significant amount over the first normal offseason of his NBA career.
“I was working out pretty much. I was putting some weight on,” said Pokusevski when asked about his offseason. “I think I got better there. I hope it’s going to show up during the season, and just getting started.”
It’s to be determined whether or not adding extra muscle will help Pokusevski out with his career, but it’s still a positive sign that he’s bulked up a bit more as a way to endure the physicality of a typical NBA season,
