Ohio State had its COVID-19 issues earlier in the year, and it now appears as though Nebraska is going through the same. Based on an announcement made from the Nebraska Basketball Twitter account, the game against the Buckeyes on Saturday has been postponed “due to health and safety protocols within the Husker program.”
The game was to be played in Columbus and tip at 2:15 p.m EST, but that will no longer take place. Ohio State sits at 5-2 in the Big Ten and will now have to wait until its next scheduled contest at Minnesota next Thursday.
“With players currently in health and safety protocol, Nebraska fell below the Big Ten Conference roster minimum, with fewer than seven scholarship players available, a statement from Nebraska said. “The programs will coordinate with the Big Ten Conference office to reschedule the game.”
