Ohio State has long has one of the best Midwest states to recruit from, and that won’t be changing in the 2025 cycle.
The Buckeyes already have commitments from two in-state prospects and now it’s looking like another one is trending towards playing in Columbus. Cleveland running back Bo Jackson was crystal balled to Ohio State by 247Sports Buckeye insider Bill Kurelic on Friday.
Jackson stands 6-foot, 1-inch and is 190-pounds, giving him great size for the position. He’s ranked as the No. 8 back in the country and 97th overall prospect nationally by the 247Sports Composite Rankings. Ohio State has been recruiting him for a while, receiving an offer in June of last year, his second one he received.

The Buckeyes have six current commits in the 2025 class, but not one at running back. Jackson would give Ohio State one of the best prospects in the country at his position.
