Ohio State recruits respond to post that says Michigan is the hottest on recruiting trail

The rivalry runs deep. Even the guys who are yet to wear the scarlet and gray know the importance of beating TTUN.

In a recent Twitter post, Hayes Fawcett made the claim Michigan is “one of the hottest teams on the recruiting trail as of late.”

He’s not wrong. Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines are putting together their best class in recent memory.

However, Ohio State is also on a pretty good run. It is getting commits from some high-profile names as well. Some of those guys decided to respond to the Fawcett claims. They seemed to be hinting that some bigger things were coming around the corner. See their interaction below.

James Laurinaitis also posted a cryptic tweet simply stating “Buckeyes!” Could this mean there are some BOOMs on the horizon? Only time will tell, but a big prize will come off the board Saturday evening when Air Noland, the No. 8 quarterback in the class declares his intentions via 247Sports on Saturday evening. Ohio State is believed to be the favorite.

Should the Buckeyes land a commitment from Noland, it may be enough to vault OSU over Michigan in the 2024 class rankings. If that happens, Mr. Fawcett may need to rethink who the hottest team in the country actually is.
