Through the first four games of the 2023 Ohio State Football season, the Buckeyes have just 5 total sacks as a team.
No player has more than one, which should mean that the Buckeyes aren’t very good at creating pressure. That statement is incredibly incorrect. In fact according to CFB Film Room, Ohio State leads the nation in opponent-adjust pressure rate generated.
Buy Buckeyes TicketsAlthough this won’t stop the clamoring for more sacks, it backs up the fact that the Buckeye defensive line is getting the job done. When compared to the top other schools in the Big Ten, it gives you a much better sense of how well the group has played.
