The Ohio State Buckeyes are a powerhouse program. It has created such a dynamic environment that produces some of the best players at the next level that most top recruits consider coming to Columbus.
That’s going to ring true for 6-foot-4 quarterback Jared Curtis.
Curtis decommitted from Georgia and is back on the market. While Ohio State may not be the top option as of now, the Buckeyes are among the programs that Curtis is reportedly interested in per Zach Berry.
2026 5-star QB Jared Curtis has absurd arm talent and is dangerous when improvising. Ole Miss, Southern Cal, South Carolina, Oregon, Clemson, Ohio State and Alabama are among the several programs interested after he decommitted from Georgia Thursday. @OMSpiritOn3 has more here… pic.twitter.com/uiFqI7BxgD

247Sports player rating has Curtis as the third-best quarterback and best player from the state of Tennessee, but the 247Sports Composite scoring system has him as the 6th-best player nationally and the best quarterback in the class.
Ohio State has the 2nd-best player in the country, QB Tavien St. Clair, committed for next season, but for the Class of 2026, it does not have a top quarterback committed yet.
The Buckeyes do already have the No. 3-ranked player in the country, Chris Henry Jr. committed for the Class of 2026 which might help bring Curtis to Columbus.
