The theme continues. After Ohio State beat the No. 5 team in the country by eleven, more seem to be less interested in how the defense looked, and more focused on the perceived shortcomings of the offense, one that only put up 21-points against the Fighting Irish.
ESPN started things by dropping the Buckeyes in its power rankings, and now, officially, the USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll has followed suit and dropped OSU down a spot to No. 3, behind Alabama (1) and Georgia (2).
Rounding out the top ten after those three are Clemson, Michigan, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Baylor, Notre Dame, and Oklahoma State. To the voters, it seems to mean that they don’t believe in either Ohio State or the Fighting Irish after one week of play.
Week 1 of college football is over. What is everyone overreacting to?
Ohio State's offense and The Pac-12 and ACC already being out of the playoff race. https://t.co/2biukTLhgY

The rest of the Coaches Poll is also very interesting, but hey, we are only one week into everyone playing a game so this is all going to chance drastically over the next few weekends.
