Michigan State football has made it a priority to reprioritize recruiting the local states of Michigan and Ohio, something that was neglected by the previous regime. The Spartans added Braylon Collier to the recruiting class earlier this cycle, and they added a second Ohioan to the class.
Cal Thrush, a 3-star defensive lineman from Columbus, and Upper Arlington High School, made the move to commit to Michigan State. He is someone that projects to have the ability to play both inside and outside on the defensive line.
