Just about everyone on the New York Jets is out of breath, but for good reason. Xavier Gipson’s 65-yard punt return touchdown in overtime gave the Jets a thrilling and emotional 22-16 win over the Buffalo Bills on a night when quarterback Aaron Rodgers was likely lost for the season with a presumed torn Achilles.
Everyone was excited, including Jets owner Woody Johnson, who was seen going through the building saying “Oh my God” in an excited fashion after the thrilling win. Dianna Russini of The Athletic caught the moment on video and shared it on X.

Even with the Rodgers injury, there is reason to celebrate. The Jets are 1-0 and now already have a victory over the Bills in the division race. Up next, a date with Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys.
