Celtic have secured the signing of South Korean forward Oh Hyeon-gyu from Suwon Samsung Bluewings.
It was revealed this week that the Hoops had agreed a £2.5m fee with the Korean outfit for the 21-year-old after their pursuit of World Cup star Cho Gue-sung never materialised in to a move. Hyeon-gyu, however, becomes the champions' fourth recruit of the January window joining defenders Alistair Johnston and Yuki Kobayashi, alongside utility star Tomoki Iwata.
The forward looks set to bolster attacking options for Ange Postecoglou with the potential exit of Giorgos Giakoumakis this month after his contract talks stalled in Glasgow. The Greek hitman has reported interest from Japan and the USA with a big decision to be made on his next step with the transfer window entering the final week of trading.
