Captain Geoff Ogilvy's International team have earned a golden opportunity to end decades of Presidents Cup frustration when they take a handy lead into the final-day singles matches.
Australian Ogilvy was proud of the "passion and fight" shown by his team as they hung tough against the star-studded American outfit in Saturday's fourballs and foursomes sessions to lead 10.5 to 7.5 at Medinah Country Club in Chicago.
"We know what we're about," said Ogilvy. The boys are very passionate about this team and this event. They really love this tournament. … It's a really good team."
