Ofwat has named the six worst performing water firms as it said the industry is “falling short” in “too many areas”.
The regulator singled out Northumbrian Water, Southern Water, South West Water, Thames Water, Welsh Water and Yorkshire Water, saying it is “deeply concerned by those that are lagging behind expectations”.
