During a news conference on Wednesday, Barrow County Sheriff Jud Smith stated that officials have not found any connection between the suspected shooter and the victims of the recent incident. When asked by a reporter if there was a prior connection, Sheriff Smith responded, 'None that I’m aware of.' The suspected shooter has been identified as a student at Apalachee High School, according to law enforcement.
