Official removed from Ally McCoist planning appeal over bias concerns

THE Government official tasked with ruling on former Scotland star Ally McCoist's proposals for a 33-home residential development has been removed after concerns about bias.

James (Glasgow) Ltd, a company that lists McCoist and Jeffrey East as directors, is appealing against Renfrewshire Council’s decision to reject their plans for 10 houses and 23 flats in Thriplee Road, Bridge of Weir.
