Brazil made an official complaint to FIFA about Mexican ref Cesar Ramos, who will be in charge of the World Cup showdown against Scotland.
The experienced whistler will make history when he takes charge of Scotland's showdown match with Brazil - his ninth game at the tournament, which is the most by any Mexican referee.
But in his very first game at the World Cup in 2018, he infuriated the Brazilians so much they made an official complaint to FIFA about his performance.
Brazil were held to a 1-1 draw by Switzerland in Russia, but were angered by the Swiss equaliser because they wanted VAR to intervene as they felt there was a clear foul on a Brazil player.

The Brazilian Football Confederation submitted a formal letter to FIFA's Arbitration Committee which stated: "We believe it was strange that Mexican referee Ramos did not use VAR to determine Joao Miranda was fouled during a corner kick.
"Likewise, we would like to know why we did not receive a penalty for an obvious foul on Gabriel Jesus."
And then-Brazil manager Tite fumed: "The Swiss goal had nothing to do with marking - it was a clear foul on our player."
However, Switzerland believed the official gave everything to Brazil. Former Arsenal star Stephan Lichtsteiner said: "I was a little bit worried about the referee. Every time they fell down it was a whistle, a foul."
