Police have identified several of the teens who attacked a security guard at Formby Train Station.
Footage recorded on a mobile phone showed a group intimidating, kicking and chasing two members of train staff in Formby Train Station on Sunday, April 3. The gang shouted "do him now" and chased the security guard into a bathroom.
The start of the video shows six people dressed in all black walking toward a station security guard and another member of staff on the platform. One of the teens can be heard saying "get off our station lad" as they intimidate the men.

The two staff members made their way toward the stairs when one of the teenagers kicked them in the back. The train station staff then ran up the stairs away from the thugs and the gang continued to chase them.
The gang backed the security guard into a corner at the station entrance where they attempted to kick him again. Both staff members managed to secure themselves behind a locked door.
One of the gang members can be seen trying to kick down the door as the rest of the teens laugh. The video of the attack was shared around social media, with multiple users tagging Merseyside Police and British Transport Police in the video.
British Transport Police launched an investigation into the incident and Merseyside Police provided support. Today (April 9), Sefton Local Policing Team issued an update on their investigation and revealed that several of the youths - both male and female - have been identified by officers.
Sefton Police stated on Facebook: "We are supporting British Transport Police in their investigation into the recent incident where railway employees were intimidated by a large group of youths on Formby Railway Station.
"Several of the youths involved, male and female, have now been identified. These individuals should expect to receive a visit from us in the near future. Should they wish to avoid the disruption of us at their family's front (and back) doors, they can hand themselves in at the enquiry office of any of our police stations. If of course, we haven't visited first.
"Investigations continue to identify more individuals involved in this incident."
