Former Liverpool striker John Aldridge has taken aim at Cardiff City fans following the FA Cup clash at Anfield on Sunday.
The 8,000-strong Bluebirds were loud from minute one up at Anfield, which came across clearly in the game's television coverage.
Indeed, in his pre-Peterborough United press conference, manager Steve Morison urged fans to give his side that sort of backing when Posh come to town on Wednesday night.
Despite a commanding performance from the English giants and a 3-1 defeat, Cardiff fans certainly enjoyed their trip up to Merseyside and backed their team throughout.
However, former Reds and Republic of Ireland forward Aldridge, who began his career with Newport, has bizarrely said he was unimpressed by the travelling Welsh contingent at the weekend.

"Cardiff brought about 8,000 fans to Anfield. They got a lucky draw. They enjoyed the day out but their fans didn’t impress me," Aldridge wrote in his Liverpool Echo column.
"The likes of Shrewsbury, Leicester, and now Cardiff - some of the things that we had to endure - they don’t sing about their own team half of the time.
"But they’ve had a day out, had a bit of a jolly and got a goal. I thought they’d won the whole game the way they celebrated it.
"I’ve noticed that the away fans this season seem to have gone a lot more volatile.
"You used to get an atmosphere like that in the old days of the Kop when it was all standing.
"But all of a sudden the away fans are coming and standing and they’re definitely more volatile than they were before.
"In any case, we got the result and their goal didn’t matter because it was a cup game.
"The Cardiff fans have had a good day out in one of the best stadiums in the world. They’ve made a few bob for the club, now off you pop!"
No doubt Cardiff fans will take umbrage with Aldridge's views.
Indeed, there was a message going around on social media which was reportedly from a Liverpool steward commending Cardiff fans for their behaviour while up at Anfield.
And Cardiff boss Morison on Tuesday said he hopes for more of the same from the Bluebirds faithful when Peterborough come to town on Wednesday night.
"If we can make home [form] a bit more secure and a tougher place to come, then that helps with the fans as well, getting right behind us from the start and doing what they did on Sunday at Anfield," Morison said.
"I’d love to hear what they did at Anfield from start to finish at a home game, regardless of the result just backing the players and backing what we’re doing.
"Obviously the result dictates that! If we’re getting absolutely battered I fully expect them not to be like that.
"But if they can at least start like that then hopefully we and the fans can sustain that level for the 90 minutes."
