Odisha: Specialist doctors flown to Nabarangpur for health camp

BHUBANESWAR: To provide better healthcare services, the state government on Friday started a two-day health camp at the Nabarangpur district headquarters hospital (DHH) under the Mukhyamantri Vayu Swastya Seva (MVSS) in which super-specialists are flown to remote areas.

The programme was first launched in Malkangiri district in December 2021.

As a part of the MVSS, a team of five specialists of cardiology, urology, gastrology and laparoscopic surgery reached the district headquarters town in a chartered flight from Bhubaneswar and started treating pre-registered patients.
