Odisha curtails summer vacation in schools

Odisha

The Odisha government on Saturday announced curtailment of summer vacation in schools from 50 days to only 10 days.

The decision was taken keeping in view the interest of students and help them to catch up with their studies as schools were closed due to COVID-19.

"The summer vacation will be curtailed and allowed for a brief period from June 6 to June 16, 2022,” a notification issued by the School and Mass Education department said.
