Ayrshire's biggest cinema has suffered substantial damage after pipes burst within its complex.
The Odeon in Kilmarnock's Queen's Drive has been out of action since Saturday - with bosses now admitting they have no timetable for a re-opening.
Images passed to Ayrshire Live from within the building show a badly flooded staff room with water pouring through the roof.
It's understood there are fears some of the cinema's screens may also have suffered water damage as a result.
Eager cinema buffs have been left disappointed by the closure, with blockbusters like Avatar: The Way of Water due to be screened this week.
At present, bookings are blocked off until Friday, December 23 at the earliest on the Odeon website.
But bosses today admitted they have no confirmed date for when doors will re-open.
A cinema spokesperson said: "Due to unforeseen circumstances brought about by the cold weather, we have had to close the screens at ODEON Kilmarnock.
"We are deeply sorry for any inconvenience caused and are doing all we can to resolve this issue as soon as possible."
Staff have temporarily been redeployed to nearby Odeon sites or encouraged to take up unused annual leave.
