Odell Beckham Jr. Signs One-Year Deal With Miami Dolphins

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. (3) works out before the AFC Championship NFL football game against the Kansas City Chiefs, Sunday, Jan. 28, 2024, in Baltimore. The Miami Dolph

Odell Beckham Jr., a Super Bowl champion, has signed a one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins worth up to $8.25 million. The NFL wideout will be joining a team that already boasts two of the most dynamic receivers in the league, Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. Hill and Waddle combined for an impressive 2,813 yards last season, the highest among wide receiver pairs in the NFL.

Upon hearing the news, Hill expressed his excitement by stating, 'It’s about to get ugly in Miami,' while Waddle commented, 'OBJ that’s tough!!!'

Beckham, 31, has played for four teams prior to joining the Dolphins. He was initially drafted by the New York Giants in 2014 and had a stellar start to his career, achieving over 1,300 receiving yards and at least 10 touchdowns per season in his first three years, earning Pro Bowl selections each season.

After a trade to the Cleveland Browns in 2019, Beckham spent two seasons there before moving to the Los Angeles Rams on a one-year deal. Unfortunately, he suffered an ACL injury early in his Rams tenure, causing him to miss the entire 2022 season.

Last season, Beckham played for the Baltimore Ravens, appearing in 14 games and tallying 565 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Now, he looks forward to making an impact with the Miami Dolphins alongside Hill and Waddle, forming a formidable trio of wide receivers for the team.
