- Oasis have filed an injunction to block the planned auction of historic live and rehearsal master recordings made by former sound engineer Huw Richards.
- The archive of 63 concert recordings and over 100 hours of band rehearsals carried an estimated guide price of between £1.2m and £1.6m.
- Littleton Auctions confirmed that the lot, known as The Desk Tapes, was withdrawn from its 3 October sale in light of the legal proceedings.
- Owain Richards, who organised the sale with his father, confirmed the auction has been postponed to allow the legal dispute to be resolved.
- The remainder of the auction will proceed as planned, featuring Oasis memorabilia such as setlists, tour itineraries, and a band-played Epiphone guitar.
