How big the announcement is remains to be seen but some fans are predicting Liam will headline Glastonbury 2022 with Oasis.
"An Oasis's reunion?" replied one fan. "Can't imagine what's bigger than that."
Another hopeful guessed: "Playing Glastonbury as headline 2022 Sunday night??"
While a third predicted: "I'm guessing Glasto? A collaboration? or more tour dates please."
"If it's not an Oasis reunion I'm not interested," said a fourth.
It's already a pretty exciting year for Liam fans after the 49-year-old confirmed in November his third solo album, C'mon You Know, would be released in May this year.
He's also returning to Knebworth this summer to celebrate 25 years since Oasis headlined there in 1996.
The Gallagher brothers have been embroiled in a feud since the band split in 2009 with fans desperate for them to make amends and reunite.
