Highs and lows for fans as Oasis tickets sale draws to close

Sunday 27 September 2026 20:17 , Stewart Carr

Some Oasis fans were jubilant while plenty of others were left bereft as today’s third and final window of ticket sales drew to a close at 8pm.

Excitement to see Oasis play at Knebworth next year is reminiscent of the band’s 1990s heyday when they played two sold-out gigs at the outdoor venue on August 10 and 11, 1996, when 2.5 million people scrambled to get their hands on 250,000 tickets.

As today’s sale wound down, some fans were bitterly disappointed.

One wrote: “Another year of no Oasis tickets. I’m gutted and raging. You click the tickets to buy, then it loads only to say they’re not available to buy. Why let me click them? Another shambles. Fuming. Felt like that was the last chance to see them in my lifetime.”

But some people enjoyed some luck. One person wrote: “I hope you’ve all been lucky and manage to get tickets? I didn’t get a code in the end but through friends and family have secured two Knebworth dates.”

Fans brand third window sale of the day a 'farce'

Sunday 27 September 2026 18:53 , Stewart Carr

Oasis fans are continuing to share their frustration as they try to secure tickets from the 5pm to 8pm window sale, the third of the day.

One person wrote on X: “Got a code, got into buy tickets at 17:05 and no general admission already? I thought every sale slot had tickets. Clearly not. Missed out in 2025 because it thought I was a bot in every pre sale, main sale and now this farce.”

Another added: “This Oasis sale is the worst yet, you queue get in add tickets and all unavailable even the ones you selected.”

Mixed experiences as 5pm window opens

Sunday 27 September 2026 17:46 , Stewart Carr

Oasis fans are reporting mixed experiences at the 5pm window opens.

One person to X and wrote: “Oasis tickets. Crashed 3 times in the waiting room. Finally got in. 14 mins in the waiting room and still 4000 in front of me in the queue. So no chance I'm getting tickets for my slot. I thought this was supposed to work this yeah.”

But others found that large queues disappeared quickly. Another user posted: “The queue goes down in minutes We were 8000 and got them in about 10.”

Yet another added: “The easiest Ticketmaster war EVER!! 248 in the queue and tickets secure within 4 minutes, thanks Oasis.”

Frustration as second window of ticket sales closes

Sunday 27 September 2026 16:53 , Stewart Carr

The second window of ticket sales to see Oasis at Knebworth closed at 4pm, leaving some fans frustrated with several reports of VIP packages being offered for over £400.

This afternoon’s window of ticket sales ran from 1pm to 4pm, with a third round of sales set to open at 5pm.

One irritated fan posted on X: “Totally gutted not to get tickets tried for 3 hours and all was offered every time/date was VIP. Wont be getting mum brownie points from my son , was hoping for tickets for his 18th birthday present. Single mum so cant afford the high prices.”

Another added: “No tickets available at normal prices just now but absolutely loads with shoddy coach and hotel packages.”

A third person wrote: “Sounds like the non-dynamic pricing has been replaced by hotel and travel packages. Why is it so hard to just give people value for money?!”

Oasis at Wembley in 2025: 'A rocket-fuelled blast of nostalgia'

Sunday 27 September 2026 13:46 , Michael Howie

Millions of fans set to miss out

Sunday 27 September 2026 13:37 , Michael Howie

By the time the final ticket sale windows close on Sunday, it’s probably fair to speculate that millions of Oasis fans will have tried and failed to buy any.

According to TicketSource, it would have taken 112 Wembley-sized shows to accommodate every fan who tried to get tickets for their 2025 reunion tour.

Around 10 million fans worldwide tried to secure tickets for Oasis’ 2025 shows, when around 1.4 million tickets were initially released.

How do Oasis ticket prices compare with 'back in the day'?

Sunday 27 September 2026 11:31 , Michael Howie

Let’s rewind to 1996.

Oasis famously played to 250,000 fans during two gigs at Knebworth. The shows electrified the band’s huge fanbase and spawned both a live album and a documentary.

The price of a ticket was £22.50.

How much is that in today’s money? Overall prices have risen by about 144% in the intervening 30 years....so about £55.

The cheapest tickets for the 2027 Knebworth gigs are £170.50, more than three times as much as it cost to see them in 1996 in “today’s prices”.

Fot all the UK dates, they are being made available on Ticketmaster for between £71.50 and £266.60, including fees.

Saturday 26 September 2026 07:12 , Matt Watts

Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher told fans to “stop moaning” about the price of tickets for the band’s concerts during an online spat.

One X user described spending just £6.30 to see Oasis in 1994, adding that today’s prices had an inflation rate of 2,598%, to which Liam simply replied: ‘STOP MOANING’.

Another fan tweeted: “So yer no getting the option to choose yer tickets.its basically taking you to a section. Take or leave kinda thing [sic]”, to which he told them to “stop moaning get your ticket get your bird a ticket”.

When another fan asked for his thoughts on resellers touting tickets for “extortionate prices’” he replied: ‘Don’t f***ing buy them SIMPLE’.

Oasis Live ’27 fans given important ticket code reminder

Friday 25 September 2026 18:17 , Poppy Huggett

Oasis fans lucky enough to receive a Live ’27 ticket code have been warned that the codes are personal and cannot be passed on to someone else.

The unique codes are linked to the email address fans used when they registered for the tour.

That email address must also match the one linked to their Ticketmaster account when they try to buy tickets.

Oasis has confirmed that codes are non-transferable, meaning fans cannot share their access with friends or family.

The warning comes as thousands of fans continue to wait for their chance to buy tickets for the Gallagher brothers’ huge 2027 reunion tour.

Codes are being sent out until Sunday, September 27, with successful fans given access to an allocated onsale window.

However, a code does not guarantee tickets, with availability limited during each sale.

So if that all-important Oasis email does land in your inbox this weekend, make sure you keep the code to yourself.

“It’s hard to explain what it feels like trying to get tickets for Oasis.

“It’s like your entire life of being a fan of Oasis comes down to those few minutes you have on Ticketmaster. I feel every emotion possible from excitement to disappointment. I can literally feel my younger self screaming.

“I actually do my life in the hands of this Rock n Roll band but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

One Oasis fan has revealed how they managed to secure four tickets for the band’s huge Knebworth shows in 2027.

Charlie Cupples revealed he had been selected for a ticket sale code when an email landed in his inbox on Thursday afternoon.

He told the London Standard: “Obviously I was over the moon but still nervous as I knew that it still didn’t guarantee me tickets.

“The ticket buying process as a whole was very easy. I got into the waiting room on the Ticketmaster app on my phone around 8:30 and waited for the 9:00 release.

“After being in the queue for around 10 mins, with 2,000 people in front of me, I was able to purchase four tickets for Knebworth for myself and three friends.”

Charlie is now looking forward to experiencing the atmosphere of Knebworth, having also seen Oasis during their 2025 reunion tour.

He said: “I’m most excited about experiencing the atmosphere of over 100,000 people singing their heart out to every song.

“After being lucky enough to see them in 2025 I knew once they announced they were performing at Knebworth I had to get tickets again.”

An Oasis fan has described the scramble for tickets as a “Hunger Games” after just one of 10 friends managed to secure tickets for the band’s huge Live ’27 tour.

Tom Leech and nine friends were all hoping to receive a ticket-sale code, but only his best friend Mick, who lives in Australia, was successful. Mick then used his code to secure four tickets for Oasis’ Knebworth show on September 18.

Oasis fans warned as tickets already being offered on X

Friday 25 September 2026 12:27 , Poppy Huggett

Oasis fans are being urged to be careful after people have already started claiming to have tickets available for the band’s huge Live ’27 tour on X.

With thousands of fans still trying to get tickets through the official sale, posts offering tickets directly through social media are already appearing.

Fans should be extremely cautious about sending money to strangers online, particularly if they are being asked to pay by bank transfer or another method with little protection.

The safest option is to use the official ticketing channels and wait for legitimate resale options to open.

Oasis and Ticketmaster have also warned that tickets will not be immediately available for resale, with official resale through Ticketmaster or Twickets opening closer to the tour.

Liam Gallagher says fans are getting a ‘life changing spiritual awakening’

Friday 25 September 2026 12:23 , Poppy Huggett

Liam Gallagher has been joking with Oasis fans about spending their money on the band’s huge Live ’27 tour.

The singer was responding to fans discussing whether they should splash out on even more shows, with one fan asking: “Munich booked. Should I do Vegas too??”

Liam replied “100 p cent”, before another fan joked: “so you want all our money huh”.

“What else you gonna spend it on,” Liam hit back.

The exchange continued, with another fan accusing him of wanting “all of our money”, to which Liam replied: “You do know your getting something in return for the exchange of money”.

And what exactly are fans getting for their cash? According to Liam, it’s nothing less than a “life changing spiritual awakening”.

When will Oasis fans receive their tickets?

Friday 25 September 2026 11:40 , Poppy Huggett

If you’ve managed to secure Oasis tickets, you might be wondering when they’ll actually appear in your Ticketmaster account.

Fans won’t receive their ticket barcodes immediately after booking. This is because Ticketmaster needs to make sure everyone has followed the ticket limits and rules of sale.

You’ll be notified when your tickets are ready, but you can still view your order and booking details in your Ticketmaster account at any time.

And if your plans change, there will be options to sell unwanted tickets.

Tickets can be resold through Ticketmaster or Twickets, although Twickets resale is only available for UK shows.

However, these resale options won’t be available straight away and will open closer to the tour.

Liam Gallagher’s latest X posts are certainly keeping Oasis fans guessing

Friday 25 September 2026 11:12 , Poppy Huggett

Liam Gallagher has been keeping Oasis fans entertained with a string of rather cryptic posts on X this morning.

The singer has shared a series of short messages, including “BE KIND”, “DONT BE MEAN” and “THINK OF OTHER PEOPLE FOR A CHANGE”.

He then followed up with “ITS NOT ALL ABOUT YOU”, “YOUR ONLY HURTING YOURSELF IN THE LONG RUN” and “BITING YOUR NOSE OFF TO SPITE YOUR FACE I SEE”.

Most recently, Liam simply posted: “CUDDLES”.

Earlier this morning, he also shared the slightly more mysterious messages “SECRET SQUIRREL VIBES IN THE AREA” and “CODIFICATION FOR THE NATION”, before adding “GOOD LUCK RASTAS”.

Friday 25 September 2026 10:58 , Poppy Huggett

Oasis fans who are still waiting to find out whether they’ve been selected for a ticket code for the band’s 2027 tour may have a little longer to wait.

Registration for Oasis Live ’27 closed at 4pm on Thursday, September 17, with fans now waiting for their ticket-sale codes to arrive.

New ticket purchasing method praised by fans as 'nice and easy'

Friday 25 September 2026 10:20 , Holly Bishop

Fans have taken to social media to heap praise on the new ticket-selling method, which was changed following backlash to 2025’s system.

For their last tour, Oasis tickets were sold across different price tiers, including cheaper standing tickets and more expensive “in demand” standing tickets.

As the cheaper tiers sold out during the sale, fans further back in the queue could be offered more expensive tickets, with some standing tickets advertised at around £148.50, eventually costing around £350.

The new method employed this year involves fans who have registered for tickets being randomly sent a unique code which would give them access to nine different sale windows over three different days.

And fans seem to be enjoying the new method so far.

Have any dates sold out?

Friday 25 September 2026 10:08 , Holly Bishop

No, tickets for every date will be available until the final ticket window closes on Sunday.

Organisers have said that every ticket option will be available in each slot, so you shouldn’t have to pay for the most expensive seats just to get a chance to see the band if you’re unique sale slot is on Sunday at 5.00pm.

The queue appears to be a lot shorter, with fans getting into the Ticketmaster portal much quicker than last year.

“So incredibly happy they’re doing it this way for this exact reason,” wrote one fan.

Be wary of resellers

Friday 25 September 2026 09:10 , Holly Bishop

Just seconds after the first sale window opened, resellers started posting online claiming they had extra tickets, urging fans to message them for more details.

Remember, resale tickets can only be listed on Ticketmaster or Twickets, so act with caution.

Ticketmaster have warned: "Tickets must not be bought with the intention of reselling them for profit or commercial purposes. If we reasonably believe this has happened, we may cancel the order and invalidate the tickets."

Why are there no London shows?

Friday 25 September 2026 08:17 , Holly Bishop

The band played seven sold-out Wembley shows during their 2025 reunion, while the new tour focuses on other major UK locations, including Manchester, Glasgow and Knebworth.

Fans in the capital have been taken aback by the lack of London shows, with some calling the choice a “snub”.

The nearest gig for Londoners this time round is well beyond the boundaries of the M25 in Knebworth, a 20 to 40-minute journey by train from King's Cross or St Pancras International.

Whilst the dates and venues have been confirmed, one thing is still (mostly) up in the air - who will be supporting the band?

But who else could be joining him? Here’s all we know and some of the rumoured favourites so far.

Oasis 2027 tour: Everything we know about who will support the band

A look back at Oasis’ legendary Knebworth shows 30 years ago

Friday 25 September 2026 07:30 , Poppy Huggett

Oasis are heading back to Knebworth in 2027, more than three decades after the band made history at the Hertfordshire venue.

In August 1996, Oasis played two huge shows at Knebworth Park, with around 125,000 fans attending each day.

The concerts became one of the defining moments of the Britpop era and marked the peak of the band’s meteoric rise.

The shows sold out in less than a day, turning Knebworth into one of the biggest musical events Britain had seen.

The setlists were packed with Oasis classics, including Wonderwall, Don’t Look Back In Anger, Champagne Supernova, Live Forever and Some Might Say.

The band were joined by a huge supporting line-up, including The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers and The Charlatans.

Director Jake Scott, who made the 2021 documentary Oasis Knebworth 1996, described the connection between the band and the crowd as “palpable”, with many fans attending their first ever gig.

Now, Oasis are set to return to Knebworth for their Live ’27 tour, bringing their reunion era back to the venue where they cemented their place in music history.

Liam Gallagher says Live ’27 isn’t a ‘farewell tour’ but ‘it could be our last’

Friday 25 September 2026 07:15 , Poppy Huggett

Liam Gallagher addressed what could lie ahead for Oasis after their huge Live ’27 tour, admitting the upcoming shows could potentially be the band’s last.

A fan asked the singer on X about his previous comments that the tour would not be a “farewell tour”.

Responding directly, Gallagher wrote: “It isn’t a farewell tour but it still could be our last.”

The comment comes after Oasis announced a huge run of 2027 dates across the UK, Europe and the US.

The tour will include shows in Glasgow, Manchester, Knebworth and Ireland, as well as dates across Europe and North America.

The band have already added extra dates to the tour following what was described as unprecedented demand, including additional shows at Knebworth.

Oasis '27 vs '25: How the new fixed-price system actually works

Friday 25 September 2026 06:45 , Poppy Huggett

Oasis has abandoned dynamic pricing for the Live '27 tour, replacing it with a pre-registered fixed-price system and random ballot allocation to prevent the widespread backlash experienced during their 2025 reunion.

In 2025, Oasis tickets were sold across different price tiers, including cheaper standing tickets and more expensive “in demand” standing tickets.

As the cheaper tiers sold out during the sale, fans further back in the queue could be offered more expensive tickets, with some standing tickets advertised at around £148.50, eventually costing around £350.

For the 2027 tour, Oasis have confirmed that ticket prices will be fixed.

Standard tickets range from £71.50 to £266.60, including fees, depending on the ticket type and location.

This means the price shown for a ticket before the sale is the price fans will pay, rather than moving into a more expensive tier as cheaper tickets sell out.

Friday 25 September 2026 06:30 , Holly Bishop
