Law enforcement officials from the NYPD and FBI have descended upon Altoona, Pennsylvania, in connection with the investigation into the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. Republican Rep. John Joyce of Pennsylvania confirmed that the FBI and NYPD have arrived at the Altoona Police Department's headquarters to interview a suspect linked to the case.
The suspect was apprehended on gun charges at a McDonald's in Altoona after an observant employee recognized him and promptly alerted the authorities. It is anticipated that the suspect will need to be extradited to New York to face potential charges related to the crime.
