They were the fans who spent countless hours bringing their favorite fictional characters to life.
The 20th anniversary of New York Comic Con, held October 8-11 at Manhattan's Javits Center, became an explosion of creativity, craftsmanship and love for pop culture, with thousands of cosplayers turning the convention into a spectacular celebration of fandom.
