March NY world sugar #11 (SBH25) Wednesday closed up +0.13 (+0.59%), and December London ICE white sugar #5 (SWZ24) closed down -0.10 (-0.02%).

Sugar prices Wednesday recovered from early losses and settled mixed after a rally in the Brazilian real (^USDBRL) to a 1-week high sparked short covering in sugar futures.
