July NY world sugar #11 (SBN23) on Wednesday closed -0.46 (-2.00%), while Aug London white sugar #5 (SWQ23) closed up +1.60 (+0.26%).

NY sugar prices on Wednesday extended the sharp 6-session sell-off and fell to a new 2-3/4 month low, generating more technical selling pressure.
