NY Cocoa Rebounds as the Pace of Ivory Coast Cocoa Exports Slows

September ICE NY cocoa (CCU25) today is up +201 (+2.48%), and September ICE London cocoa #7 (CAU25) is down -66 (-1.20%)

Cocoa prices today are mixed, with London cocoa falling to an 8-month nearest-futures low.   London cocoa retreated today after several European Union (EU) member states asked the European Commission to delay the application of rules aimed at curbing global deforestation, which would allow EU countries to continue importing cocoa supplies from countries, including Brazil and the Ivory Coast, where allegations of deforestation persist.
